Video, Radio, and Print...Oh My!Thursday, August 28, 2008Lots of new stuff on the Net this week about Angel's Tip: A terrific interview with AM Northwest (a Portland morning show that eschews all the format's usual cliches); a radio interview with Eric Spencer as part of his "Women to Watch" show; and a Q&A with Powell's Bookstore (novel ground covered here, including which fictional character I'd like to date and the time a Wichita drag queen borrowed my name). posted by Alafair Burke at 5:09 AM 2 Comments:Previous Posts

I had the opposite problem with my name - everyone had it; so I hated mine as well. Since I worked with the football team in high school, they referred to one another primarily by last names, and that ended up happening to me, too..which was then "adjusted" to Forby. That stuck through high school and then in college I guess I got over disliking my name. Now it's just there, I guess! Loved the interview - although, I'd want to date Joe Pike!
Forby (ha!), On the subject of fictional dating, Win Lockwood from the Myron Bolitar was a close second.
