 One of my worst forms of online procrastination is cruising real estate listings. How many times would I have to sell my soul to live here? I love that the price was just reduced by four million dollars. Times really are tough out there.
I'm printing out a copy. I can't own it, but one of my characters might. And, ha! Now my surfing counts as research.

This is funny. I was out in SoCal with my sis and commenting on an apartment on the ocean that was for rent and that it was probably astronomical. Meanwhile we walked by a realty company that had listings posted in the window. She said "here, look. You'll see they aren't that bad." My reply ways, "This one says 2.2 million dollars!"
And what the heck? 12 ceilings? What does that mean? I'm feeling so hick right now! ;)
