Best NY Christmas Card Sights

Tuesday, December 2, 2008

I can't believe the holiday season is here again.  For the past three years, my Christmas card has featured a photograph of Duffer.  Year 1 was a photo of Sean, Duffer, and me in front of the Christmas tree, which also doubled as a marriage announcement because Sean and I didn't have a wedding (It read "Duffer is pleased to announce ...).  Year 2 was a photoshopped photo of Duffer in an army outfit.  Last year was Duff in his pajamas.

So what to do this year?  I'd love to photograph Duffer in some iconic NYC locale but am having a hard time identifying a location that would capture both the sight and a 30 pound dog.  Suggestions?

One of my favorite pictures from my trip to NYC is the picture of a street musician playing a steel drum - this was either on Broadway or somewhere near it...do the musicians wear anything festive this time of year? Wouldn't it be cool if one would be part of your picture? Duffer could sit in the steel drum! ;) Just kidding! Good luck. I'm off to hopefully finish up my cards tonight...tomorrow at the latest!

On Santa's Lap at Macy's, skating at Rockefeller Center or on aboard a horse and buggy ride through Central Park with the Plaza Hotel in the background?
